LISBON, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) - The Portuguese government on Wednesday approved a 50-euro (58.5 U.S. dollars) increase in the national minimum wage for 2026, raising it from 870 euros to 920 euros.
Speaking at a press conference following the Council of Ministers meeting, Minister of the Presidency Antonio Leitao Amaro said the measure represents a "significant increase."
